then i read more about the subject
"omg Decepticons are fascists"
i thought of Autobots being fascists because in their history, they are absolutely in line with that political ideology. Let's remember the caste system they live in, and their Senate, and their exploitative Primes. Everyone at the higher top dictates how the lower castes live and what their future is. plus they aren't allowed to oppose this system because to oppose it is to oppose Primus (their god) as well. i mentioned Primus because he is one of the parts of their Functionist Society ideology. i cant fully remember but the Senate especially believes in this, saying how you were born shapes your future. i forgot what they mentioned about shapes nd shit but thats basically it. nothing screams more than Fascism in here more than Autobots lets be real now
then I thought of the Decepticons being fascist but the more I think about it the less it may seem. Sure the Decepticons have a dictator leader and cannot oppose their faction but they don't have a choice. Megatron is their leader because no one else is perfect enough to lead the Decepticons to victory and they have to stay loyal to their faction in order to win the war. in realization between the two factions, Autobots are still more fascist than Decepticons simply for the mistreatment and history the Autobots had that created the Decepticons in the first place. the difference between them is how they handled their people. The Autobots literally fully dictate A WHOLE SOCIETY in their planet with the caste system, and the Decepticons move like a military empire. Literally they're like a military only they are way more strict with their rules. Megatron is at the top because he's the strongest and he's perfect to lead the Decepticons, in fact, the people even want him to be the leader anyway.
then when the war started the Autobots made a full 180 saying they're good cus the Decepticons are bad. like sybau omg
atp NO ONE is good or bad here. just a buncha people joining groups where they believe is right.
personally i think the Decepticons are correct. but looking back, no one is correct because at the end of the Day Megatron loves me more gahah jk
